This is the photoshoot I did for a friend couple’s first year wedding anniversary, back in November.
At the time I had just finished taking some pre-wedding photos for another friend couple, so I was itching to do something different from the run-of-the-mill “sweet” look. The words that were forming in my head were “funky”, “torn jeans”, “high heel boots”, and the sort. Not only were Yeng Kwang and Hui Ting open to the idea, they were ready to take it even further than what I had in mind! We wrapped everything up within a day with much fun!
Here are some of the photos. I hope you don’t mind the silliness — we dug up fashion and perfume advertisements for inspiration, as I’m sure you can tell.

Lately I’ve been playing with some grunge patterns. I think this looks a tad bit better than the original version (I was shamefully imagining it as a poster when making the changes, heh)…
When I have the time I would really want to re-draw the whole concept. I think some of my drawing styles have changed.
